We are officially done with our Christmas concerts.
Chad had his first, I unfortunately did not get a picture of that handsome boy all dressed up tooting his horn. But, I did get a picture of him playing at the annual "Christmas in Strasburg". The band plays down mainstreet to welcome Santa and then hang out playing Christmas music as the community walks up and down the street with all of the
Christmas lights enjoying hot chocolate and cider.
Then Spencer had his Christmas concert for the Elementary School.
He was soooo excited and got to be one of the bell ringers.
Last night was our last band concert. Leanne played the flute. It was a really good concert. The best song they played was "Oregon Trail". I wish I had recorded it.
They all played or sang Christmas songs. Yes,Christmas songs, not just "holiday songs". It was refreshing to hear the sweet songs of Christmas played and sung by children.
I love this time of year!
